About the Band

This is the page where I'll describe the band in more detail.

Criminal Sanity is a high energy, heavy metal band that has been described as "...a massive mix of Pantera meets Helloween." (Harder Beat Magazine- March1995) With a full line of original music and showmanship beyond most groups comprehension. Criminal Sanity consistently packed clubs to the max! Once heard, they kept the fans coming back every time they palyed.

Six members, three guitars, using a unique double rhythm/double lead mix adds a dimension to their music that fills the mosh pit and keeps it full through the entire set. The members of the band are professional musicians that know the value of going the extra mile to fill the places the played and put on a show that would keep the fans coming back every time they came through town.

The band members, Andy Wylde-vocals, Tony Steele-lead guitar, John Evans-lead/rhythm guitar, Damian Hyde-rhythm/lead guitar, Chris Boner-bass and Orion Quest-drums, had only two real goals. First- to entertain millions and second- make money doing so. Their CD, DEMORALIZE, proved that they had the ability to do both.

Criminal Sanity

A Little Band History

Criminal Sanity was formed in 1989 by Larry Lynch and Tony Steele. But the best lineup ever was with Paul Hyde, John Evans, Chris Chauvin and Orion Quest. Criminal Sanity has shared the stage with greats like Night Ranger and Johnny Solinger of Skid Row. We had signed a record deal but liked it better putting out our own cd's. The band called it quits in 1996 but still to this day puts on reunion shows just for fun.

***Just a little secret for you guys.
After the reunion show there was a discussion about the comeback of Criminal Sanity. Although, it would not be the original lineup. I know BUMMER!! But as of right now Andy Wylde, Tony Steele and Boner are in on the deal. The rest are in discussion about the reformation.
